It’s bad without a kitten

I just wanted to write here about how I really want to have a cat at home. But my parents won’t let me. They say you have to take care of animals, and I can’t do that.

I know that not everyone wants to have a kitty cat exactly. And I really want to. Because I know that cats heal. My mom’s stomach hurts a lot, and I feel sorry for the pain she gets. And if we had a cat or kitty cat, she would treat my mom. My friend Lena has a kitty cat, and she sits on Grandma’s feet, and Grandma’s feet hurt less then.

I’m 12 years old now and I know how to take care of a cat. I will buy him food and bring him sand and I will also bathe him and brush him.

I think that if we have a cat at home, Dad and Mom won’t fight, and instead they’ll just pet Barsik.

My mom says the cat will molt, so I agree to sweep and vacuum the apartment every day.

Of course, my parents don’t believe me. They think that I just promise to do everything, and then I won’t do anything. But I know that I will. I’ve been dreaming of having a cat since I was six years old. I’ve read a book on how to properly care for animals, and I’ll do everything as it’s written.

I so want to take care of someone. Some of my classmates have brothers and sisters. I don’t. Because my mom’s health is bad. So, I think that if we have a kitty cat and my mom’s health gets better, maybe she can have someone else. Then I will walk with the baby, coddle him, feed him, and sing songs before I go to sleep. And then we’ll play together with our kitty. Because it will be our mutual friend.
