Spread the love

The story took place several years ago. It was in the summer. My friend Ksyusha and I were about 12-13 years old at the time. We used to walk with her in the yard with other kids and we all knew each other.

One day a guy came to our yard. He was tall, bald, bald-eared, skinny – in general, ugly, like “three basements. However, he was very sociable by nature. Despite the fact that he was about three years older than us, he immediately found common ground with all the kids of all ages in our yard. His name was Sergei.

I don’t know why, but I was the one he initially paid attention to. He was coming on to me, asking me to go out with him. He caught me at the porch and wouldn’t let me go home, he tried to get to know my mother. In general, as time went by, he became a source of wild horror for me. I was even afraid of his voice. And to get rid of him, I decided to introduce him to Ksyusha.

The acquaintance went well, and he smoothly switched from me to my friend. Ksyuha is a modest, naive, dreamy girl. She loved Sergei’s attention. It flattered her. They often sat together on the bench, cuddling, and no one doubted that they had become a couple.

It’s been a while. I haven’t seen Ksyusha for a long time: either school or taekwondo training. One day, she came running to my house with round frightened eyes and started begging me to hide her.

– I wanted to break up with him, but he keeps standing under my driveway, he keeps following me… I barely got away from him.

I started to calm my friend down, but then someone banged on my door. When I opened the door, I was stunned. There was Seryoga standing on the threshold, smiling cheekily.

-Well, where’s Xuha? You don’t have to hide her.

He must have wanted to go into the apartment, but I quickly shut the door. He knocked briefly and then left.

“Some kind of psycho,” I thought at the time.

Some more time passed. Every day I, or one of our friends, would walk Xusha home – she flatly refused to go alone. When I saw her off, I often saw Sergei. He stood in the distance, but apparently didn’t dare to come up.

One day Ksyusha called me and, sobbing, asked me to come to her. She said Sergei had been banging on her door for an hour and demanded to come out.

I went to check the situation. There was no one under Xuha’s apartment. So I went to her house unobstructed. My friend sat white as a sheet and refused to tell me anything. She only muttered that Sergei wouldn’t leave her alone. We sat in the kitchen for a while, drinking tea.

Suddenly, the front door shook and a scream reverberated down the hallway: “Xyuha, come out. I know you’re home. I looked out the peephole and wasn’t surprised to see Sergei on the stairs. His face was red, his pupils running back and forth. If you thought that way to hide from me, it will not work. You’re mine and you’re not going anywhere!” (strange that the neighbors didn’t do anything!)

My friend turned completely white, and it was as if she had turned gray. Yes, it’s not something that can be solved by talking quietly. I was in the middle of an argument with my friend.

And what do you think, he kicks the door (the door is old, wooden) and flies into the apartment. Without noticing me, he grabs Ksyuha by the arms and starts shaking her. At the same time he said something like “traitor, you thought you were leaving me”… or something like that. My friend screamed. Then I jumped on him and started hitting him. He left Ksyuha alone and ran after me.

In general, I have almost no recollection of what happened afterwards. I remember that I was very scared. I remember that my neighbors, guys in their twenties, met on my way. They grabbed Sergei and dragged him away. Probably to deal with him. After that incident, Ksyusha and I took a long time to come to our senses.

We saw Sergei afterwards, but it was as if he didn’t recognize us. He just walked past us without noticing.

All the better…
